Almont is located in the heart of Gunnison county home of over 1,000 miles of rivers and streams. Your guide will be able to show you everything from slow winding high alpine streams, fishing class 3 white water, large rolling rivers or trying for some of the states largest trout all within minutes of our shop. Our trips are catered to fit your desires.

Walk wade trips offer the best instruction and attention from your guide as you inspect each pool, riffle and run. Waters we cover include: East, Taylor, Gunnison, Lake Fork, Arkansas and Rio Grande rivers as well as countless streams and creeks. Trips can be combined with floating so that physical impact is limited in the thin air of 8,500 to 7,000 feet.

Half day trips average 3 1/2-4 hours. Full days average 8 hours and include a deli style lunch. For an additional fee we would love to cook you up a hot meal while you fish or nap. All trips are catch and release and include, demo rods, reels and hip waders if necessary. Tackle, adult bevrages and gratuily not included.

25% deposit is required with balance due at end of the trip. Refunds given with 14 days notice. Less than 14 days will be transfered to another trip to be used within one year of original trip.

Fishing license,cameras, sun block, polarized sunglasses, snacks, foul weather clothing, waders, fishing gear and any other toys.
